ABOUT

The federal practice of BlackArc. Federal AI, built to run.

BlackArc Systems builds production agentic AI systems for the federal government and trains agencies and national laboratories to run them. Operators, not advisors — the people who design the system have run the work it depends on.

ENGINEERING REVIEW · BLACKARC SYSTEMS
01 // WHO WE ARE

Built by people who have shipped AI to production.

BlackArc Systems is the federal practice of BlackArc, part of BlackArc Industrial, LLC. The founders have put more than 150 AI agents into production across federal, SLED, and commercial work — software that runs on a duty cycle, not a demo that ends when the meeting does.

The founding team draws on senior operations and AI leadership, a deep NVIDIA and CUDA autonomous-systems engineering heritage, and direct federal technology-adoption experience. That background is the reason the systems we hand over keep running after we leave.

02 // WHAT WE DO

We build, train, and secure federal AI.

Three lines of work, one standard: a system you own and can reason about on your own.

WORK / 01

Build

Production agentic systems — eval suites, version control, and observability included — designed for the real mission, not the pitch.

WORK / 02

Train

Hands-on enablement for agencies and national laboratories on transferable principles, so your team runs the system after we leave.

WORK / 03

Secure

Audit, redaction, and access control from day one: tamper-evident chains, PII redaction, scoped credentials, and air-gapped deployment when required.

03 // MISSION PARTNER

In partnership with CTG Federal.

BlackArc Systems delivers in partnership with CTG Federal, a CMMC Level 2 C3PAO and ISO 9001 prime with more than 200 federal customers. The partnership pairs production AI engineering with the contracting posture and delivery discipline federal work demands.

Federal contract vehicles, compliance, and quality management run through CTG Federal. The result: agencies get a working system and a partner already trusted across the federal market.

04 // VALUES

Four principles we run on.

The principles are how we choose work, how we build, and how we say no.

PILLAR / 01

We Ship Systems, Not Slides

Most federal AI never leaves the demo. We build production software — eval suites, version control, observability — that runs on a duty cycle, not in a pitch.

PILLAR / 02

Operators, Not Advisors

We've sat in the seat. The people designing the system know what breaks in the real mission, because they've run the work that depends on it.

PILLAR / 03

Audit Is a First-Class Citizen

Every decision is traceable to the version of the policy that made it. Tamper-evident logs, PII redaction, and human-in-the-loop controls are infrastructure, not afterthoughts.

PILLAR / 04

We Teach You to Own It

We train your people on transferable principles, not vendor lock-in. When we leave, your team runs the system and reasons about agents on their own.

PROOF // IN THE FIELD

What "runs on Monday" looks like.

Anonymized mission patterns — the shape of the work, without the names. Each one ran in production, with a human on the decisions that mattered.

Acquisition & Contracts
Defense agency
SITUATION

A contracting shop reviewing more solicitations than its officers could keep pace with — market research and compliance checks done by hand, late into every close.

WHAT WE BUILT

An acquisition agent that drafts market-research summaries and runs proposal-compliance checks, with the contracting officer approving each output before it moves.

WHAT CHANGED

Officers work more packages without adding staff, and every recommendation traces back to the source document an auditor would ask for.

Case & Correspondence
Civilian agency
SITUATION

A correspondence queue that had outrun headcount — intake, routing, and first drafts all manual, all backlogged.

WHAT WE BUILT

An intake-and-drafting agent that triages, routes, and drafts responses against policy, with redaction and release held under human review.

WHAT CHANGED

The backlog stopped growing. Staff moved from sorting mail to deciding the hard cases, and every response carries the policy version it was written against.

Analyst & Intelligence Support
National laboratory
SITUATION

Analysts spending more time collating sources than reasoning about them — long documents, scattered systems, fixed deadlines.

WHAT WE BUILT

A research-support agent that summarizes across documents with citations back to the original, resolves entities, and drafts RFIs — running air-gapped where the work required it.

WHAT CHANGED

Analysts start from a first pass instead of a blank page and keep their judgment on the assessment. Nothing leaves the enclave, and every claim points to its source.
